The duties of this committee shall be to continuously review the financial status of the Foundation, and make determinations as to the various amounts of monies available each year, for each of the various activities of the Foundation. Included in their mandate, i.e., the responsibility to determine the total amount of monies available for philanthropic donations.

The duties of this committee shall be to continuously review the Bylaws of the Foundation, and from time o time, consider all questions concerning the Foundations structure and its purpose

The duties of this committee are to coordinate the telephone-calling program, which will have the responsibility to notify members in the event of a death or serious problem befalling any member, or other messages that the President may direct. The Chairman shall organize and initiate the notification process.

The duties of this committee are to coordinate and arrange for candidates of all political parties to speak at our open General meeting in October of each year.

This committee shall have the responsibility for accepting applications for donation from various charitable organizations through the sponsorship by any member of the Foundation. This committee shall review all charitable, civil and educational requests as enunciated in ARTICLE II, Section A.1, and after considering the limits set by the Budget Committee, establish criteria for determining the amount, considering the purpose of the request and any previous record of donations. The committee shall then report their recommendation or disposition of the donation to the Board of Directors at the next scheduled meeting. If at any time the Board of Directors believes that time is of the essence, the Board may by-pass this committee to meet the emergency.

The duties of this committee are to make arrangements for the Club's annual Christmas party.

The duties of this committee are to coordinate the Clubs marching in the Columbus Day Parade on New Dorp Lane.

The duties of this committee are to make arrangements for the Club's annual Dinner Dance in which we honor one of our members.

This committee has the responsibility to accept donations of monies and food and, with the assistance of our members, package and distribute these foods in the winter Holiday season to needy recipients.

This committee has the responsibility to suggest programs intended to raise funds to support the Foundation's philanthropic goals, and to seek support from other agencies to finance the Foundation.

The chairman, hopefully a Clergyman, should be the recipient of all notices from members, concerning members or their immediate family, who are ill, injured or demised. It shall be the Chairman's responsibility to take the appropriate response, i.e., if ill or injured to make a house or hospital call. If there is a death, then with the guidance and direction of the President, the procedures, adopted and approved by the Board of Directors, shall be followed.

Gourmet Dinner

The duties of this committee are to arrange for annual Bacchanalian Feast usually held in February of each year.

This committee will have the responsibility of selecting a person who has been exemplary or outstanding in the service to the communtiy, above and beyond the ordinary. This Honoree Award will be presented at our Annual Dinner Dance and will be in conjunction with the Journal.

Inter-Italian Relations

This committee shall meet with and participate in cooperative discussions with other similarly situated Italian organizations.

The function of this committee is to solicit ads for our annual journal. This is our main fund raiser and is presented to all who attend the annual dinner dance.

This committee will have the responsibility of selecting a member who has been exemplary and outstanding in long time service to the Foundation. This achievement award will be presented at a General Membership meeting chosen by the President.

This committee is charged to comply fully with Article III, Section IV, Sponsorship of Members, in its entirety. They will seek out individuals they feel a suited to join the Foundation and make recommendations to the Board of Directors.

Functions: This committee is charged with the task of arranging a mass each November to honor all the deceased members of the Foundation.
